Preparing, following up and implementing plans, strategies & programs for the promotion of tourism in the Sultanate of Oman, in coordination with all representative offices, embassies, and related parties in all targeted countries.
Preparing and implementing marketing advertising campaigns through traditional and electronic channels with the aim of encouraging local tourism, attracting regional and international tourism, and highlighting tourism experiences in accordance with the marketing strategy outputs.
Implementing the marketing strategy initiatives and aligning them with the Omani Tourism Strategy 2040 .
Choosing effective marketing tools and implementing them according to the targeted markets
Preparing all promotional materials in coordination with relevant parties according to the targeted markets.
Implementation of plans to activate the marketing identity and work on its sustainability and empowerment in all markets.
Participation in events and exhibitions to promote the Sultanate and organizing these participations within a unified pavilion in order to ensure convergence between local tourism companies with their international counterparts.
Organizing and participating in promotional road shows regionally and internationally in the target markets in coordination with the representative offices of the Ministry and specialized companies.
Organizing and implementing familiarization trips to the Sultanate and selecting destinations and programs in accordance with the objectives and requirements of the target markets in coordination with the divisions and other concerned entities.
Follow-up on all works related to specialized tourism segments in the Sultanate, discussing their needs and coordinating with companies in order to attract and increase the tourism movement of different tourism segments in the Sultanate.
Preparing and implementing plans related to the development of the cruise ships sector, yacht tourism and charter trips in the Sultanate.
Supervising all activities carried out by the of the Ministry's tourism representative offices outside Oman.
Preparing plans to open new tourist markets according to the outputs of the marketing strategy.
Develop plans to enhance cooperation with the concerned entities and institutions in the public and private sectors in order to activate aspects of joint work in tourism marketing and to empower partners in global markets to enhance the Sultanate's position and achieve marketing objectives.
